Privacy policy

PK Rain Technologies operates eruditepradeep.com and the Rankora study platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

• What you give us: name, mobile number, email address, target examination and year, and anything you type into the doubt-solving chat.
• What you generate by using it: questions attempted, answers chosen, test scores, time spent, and topics you revisit.
• Technical data: device type, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and pages viewed.
• Payment data: handled entirely by our payment gateway. We receive a transaction reference and status. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials.

Why we collect it

• To run your account and give you the study features you asked for.
• To generate your performance analysis and identify weak chapters.
• To send you the study plan or updates you requested, by WhatsApp or email.
• To keep the platform secure and to prevent misuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the product help students.

AI processing

Doubts you submit are processed by AI models to generate an explanation. Where models run on our own infrastructure, your text stays within it. Where a third-party model is used, only the text of your question is sent, without your name, phone number or email attached.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform, and only what they need:

• The payment gateway, to take a payment.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Messaging providers, to deliver the WhatsApp or email updates you asked for.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to.

If you use an institute plan, your teacher or institute administrator can see your practice activity and scores within that institute.

Students under 18

Many of our users are school students. We collect only what is needed to provide the service, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of a minor for advertising. A parent or guardian may write to us to review or delete their child's information.

How long we keep it

Account and study data is kept while your account is active and for up to twelve months afterwards, so you can come back to your history. Transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your account sooner.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and its data.
• Stop the WhatsApp or email updates at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to production data is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users promptly if a breach puts their information at risk.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember whether you chose the light or dark theme, and measure aggregate usage. You can clear or block them in your browser, though signing in will stop working.

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above.
